Macau | Stanley Ho's health not in critical condition - Media

Following reports that gaming businessman Stanley Ho was in intensive care at the Hong Kong Sanatorium & Hospital due to serious organ failure, Ho's third wife Ina Chan and daughter Laurinda Ho made public statements denying any life danger and stressing that the businessman is in good health

Macau (MNA) – Family members of Stanley Ho Hung-sun have denied reports that the businessman is in serious health conditions, newspaper South China Morning Post reported.

Previous reports from Hong Kong media had indicated that the 97-years-old gaming tycoon had been admitted at the emergency room of Hong Kong Sanatorium & Hospital at 9:00 pm on Friday following serious organ failure.

Several family members were seen entering the hospital with reports indicating doctors had advised the family to remain on site, so precarious was the businessman’s health.

Speaking to the press today outside of the private hospital Ho’s third wife Ina Chan Un Chan and daughter Laurinda Ho Chiu-lin stated the businessman was just resting at the hospital and not in intensive care as reported by Hong Kong media.

According to the newspaper, Ina Chan even indicated that Ho’s Chinese New Year Wishes for his family was for his children – 17 in total from four wives – to remain obedient.
