Low-cost carrier Tigerair Taiwan is officially opening sales at noon today for its Macau-Taiwan routes. The joint venture between Taiwans China Airlines and Singapores Tiger Airways is scheduled to launch its Macau-Taipei routes on December 17 while the Macau-Kaohsiung route will commence the day after. Celebrating the launches of its new routes between Macau and the major Taiwan cities, the airline is offering 5,000 NT$88 tickets (MOP23) excluding tax. Tigerair will offer seven round-trip flights between Macau and Taipei Taoyuan International per week. The frequency will be increased to 10 a week from February 1. Meanwhile, three round-trip flights are offered by the airline per week between Macau and Kaohsiung.
