The Anti-Corruption China Summit which ran in Beijing in November by Beacon Events was a huge success with over 110 attendees participating! The highlights of the event were Keynote Addresses by Charles Duross, Assistant Chief, Fraud Section, in charge of the FCPA, US Department of Justice (DoJ) and by Sean McKessy, Chief, Office of the Whistleblower at the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

There were many lively debates, which included panelists from: Intel, Alcoa, Marsh Asia, Braiform (Spotless Group), Mary Kay, Eaton, UPS, Covington & Burling, Alcatel-Lucent, Owens Corning, Steptoe & Johnson, HSBC, Baxter, Kirkland & Ellis, AT&T, Davis Polk, Hogan Lovells, Microsoft, Alstom, Siemens, John Deere, Dell and more!

Delegates had a great time and learned a lot, saying:

“I truly enjoyed the conference. I met many seasoned professionals – the diversity made your conference different from the other ones in the marketplace” – HSBC

“Very interesting to get into this topic, which is new for me” – Gucci Group

“Good platform for exchange of ideas and networking. Such exchange helps with ideas to improve one’s own compliance programmes” – Braiform (Spotless Group)

Over 110 high level delegates came, primarily from China/HK (75%), as well as from the US, Indonesia, Singapore, Australia, France, Japan, Macau, Taiwan and the UK to hear all the latest news and strategies on how top international companies were combating fraud in China.
