The French Rivera Folies FMBA Annual Gala Dinner 2011 for the Needy Community of Macau

The FMBA (French Macau Business Association) Annual Gala Dinner 2011 , is going to be held on Thursday, December 8 at the Grand Ballroom of MGM GRAND Macau. It is FMBA’s traditions to gather all its members, guests and the potential interested parties to a cultural night with a 4-hour intensive program including cocktail reception, 5-course French dinner, entertainment, hospitality and its etiquette. This serves as a hub for Macau Locals or Chinese Participants to understand further more on French Culture in depth.

Being a local community care non-governmental organization , FMBA is going to have Fund Raising through Silent Auction for the Macau International Ladies’ Club and Macau Special Olympics for providing more sport trainings, competitions, celebrations or even heating facilitates during cold winter in this 3rd annual gala dinner ever since the association’s establishment in 2008 with the great support of Consul General of France in Hong Kong and Macau, as well as the support offered by IPIM- the Macau Trade an Investment Promotion Institute.

Franklin Willemyns, Chairman of FMBA said: ‘Our passion to charity for the needy in the community enables us to get support from various traditional and electronic media’s support and make this became a bi-city event, Macau and Hong Kong with more than 300 attendees . This also explicits the FMBA spirit as being a platform for French and Chinese businessmen who are based in Macau SAR and Hong Kong SAR of the Mainland China’.

FMBA serves as a platform for Businessmen who are either based in Macau SAR and Hong Kong SAR and have interest in doing business with French. They understand the culture difference between French and Chinese while they respect each other uniqueness. With this platform, they aim to gain understanding of both cultures in order to co-operate in a mutual point on any partnerships between these two nations. Members can choose freely to attend its monthly breakfast meetings (once every month between January to November), seminars, workshops as well as its annual dinner to wrap up the year in December.
