Since 6am this morning (Sunday), the sample collection certificate for the nucleic acid test issued by qualified testing institutions recognized by Zhuhai and Macau, to be presented by individuals entering Zhuhai City via the Border post in Zhuhai and Macau, only takes effect 24 hours after the sample is taken and has a validity period of 7 days, local health officials said.
Failing to present the sample collection certificate for the negative nucleic acid test or the valid sample collection certificate, issued by qualified institutions, recognized by the Health Services or Mainland China, which reports to the last seven (7) days, then: 1) non-resident workers from Mainland China cannot enter Macau; 2) SAR residents and visitors must undergo a nucleic acid test at the Taipa Maritime Passenger Terminal and must be kept under medical observation at a designated location within 24 hours of sample collection, explained Dr. Lo Iek Long at Saturday’s press conference of the New Coronavirus Contingency Coordination Center.
There has been no diagnosis of coronavirus in Macau for thirty-eight days. There is no record or occurrence of community transmission in the SAR, said the authorities.
On Saturday, one more patient was discharged from the hospital, with only one of the 45 coronavirus registered by Macau still under hospital care.
