Macau (MNA) – Hospitality group Apple Leisure Group (ALG) announced a new resort brand management deal with Grupo Santa Maria SA to operate a future integrated resort in the Dominican Republic, named Dreams Macao Beach Punta Cana.
Based in the US, ALG is a travel and hospitality conglomerate that operates mainly in Mexico and the Caribbean
The new resort was said by the company to be the only one in Macao Beach in the the east region of the Caribbean country, with the property to offer 500 rooms and suites, all with ocean views.
Macao Beach – or Playa de Macao – is a public beach located in the province La Altagracia in the east region of the Dominican Republic.
The hotel will also be the eleventh branded property of AMResorts – an ALG subsidiary – on the island.
