Beijing residents say that they support the decision to lift travel restrictions in Hubei province, after the government announced that the lockdown would be removed for the more than 50 million people in the province. Residents will be allowed to leave Hubei from midnight on Tuesday if healthy, while restrictions in Wuhan will be lifted from April 8. Life elsewhere in Beijing appears to be slowly returning to normality with the highways and subways filling up and people returning to street markets.
