Health authorities have announced this afternoon another two cases of COVID-19 in the city. Both the 69th and 70th cases are security guards working at Golden Crown China Hotel, just like the 68th case confirmed this morning.
The 69th case has been diagnosed to a security staff who regularly works on the 10th floor of the Golden Crown China Hotel and guided the 64th case to his hotel room. On the night of September 24, this individual underwent medical observation in isolation. Nucleic acid tests performed on September 16, 23, 24 and 25 were all negative. Meanwhile, the NAT performed on on Tuesday (September 28) returned positive. On May 29 and July 3 in Macau this man was inoculated with the inactivated Sinopharm vaccine, the Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre added.
With regards to the 70th case, it was diagnosed to a man who had contact with the 65th case. On the night of September 24, he underwent medical observation in isolation. The results of nucleic acid tests performed on September 15, 22, 24 and 25 were all negative. The result of a nucleic acid test performed on Tuesday (September 28) was positive . This man also received two doses of the inactivated Sinopharm vaccine on May 22 and June 25 in Macau.
These two people do not show any symptoms and were referred to the Clinical Health Centre for further diagnosis and treatment. Further details will be released later, health authorities said.
