Frank McFadden has been appointed Chief Operating Officer for Gaming & Hospitality of gaming concessionaire SJM, an internal memo that Macau News Agency had access to indicates.
Louis Ng Chi Sing held the COO position in SJM from 2002 to June 9, 2020, having stepped down in March last year as SJM’s Director. He has been appointed as an adviser in the gaming concessionaire starting from June 10.
According to the memo signed by SJM’s Chairman of the Board of Director, Daisy Ho, McFadden will be mainly responsible for the casinos in Grand Lisboa, Hotel Lisboa, Ponte 16, and Jai Alai, plus the group’s hospitality services, gaming analytics, and property planning and enhancement.
McFadden joined SJM in 2006 after a stint as Las Vegas Sands’ top executive in Macau and was serving as President for Business Development at SJM before this appointment.
Yesterday SJM Holdings – SJM’s Hong Kong-listed holding company – held its annual board meeting, the first since the death of founder Stanley Ho, with Louis Ng also stepping down from his positions as Executive Committee member and Chief Operating Officer to be re-appointed as Non-executive Director starting from June 10.
The same memo accessed by MNA reveals that after the restructuring, SJM’s Director and Assistant CEO Arnaldo Ho, son of Stanley Ho and fourth wife Angela Leong, has been appointed as President for International Business Development.
Arnaldo Ho will now be responsible for participation and study of casinos and resorts in Japan, together with other development projects.
Bernand Yip will also be appointed as President for Business Development, with Paul Hung taking over as President for Security, Surveillance and ESG and Rui Cunha holding functions as Secretary-General.
