BREAKING NEWS: July gaming revenue jumps 29pct over previous month

July has ended with a total of MOP 8.44 billion (US$1.05 billion) in gross gaming revenue, accounting for a 29 per cent increase over June.

The figure released by the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau is the second best month so far this year, only surpassed by the MOP10.4 billion mark reported in May.

On a year-on-year basis, gaming revenue in July this year accounted for a 528 per cent jump.

Gaming revenue for the first seven months of 2021 reached MOP 57.4 billion, 63 per cent more than in the same period of last year.
