Casino workers mandated to wear health masks until March

The Health Bureau has extended a measure mandating that all casino workers must wear health masks during working hours until March 22.

The measure had initially been enforced on January 22 and was initially scheduled to last until February 22.

As a measure to contain the spread of Covid-19 casino operations were suspended for 15-days until February 20.

Upon the suspension end the Gaming Inspection and Co-ordination Bureau has also issued some of the new health preventive measures that will have to be enforced by local gaming operators after casino operation, such as regular cleanings and maintaining a minimum distance between customers.
