Chinese mainland reports 21 new imported COVID-19 cases

The Chinese mainland reported 21 new imported COVID-19 cases Sunday, bringing the total number of imported cases to 2,823, the National Health Commission said Monday.

Of the new imported cases, 10 were reported in Shanghai, five in Guangdong, three in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, two in Fujian and one in Shanxi, the commission said in its daily report.

Among all the imported cases, 2,638 had been discharged from hospitals after recovery, and 185 remained hospitalized, with two in severe condition, the commission said.

   No deaths had been reported from the imported cases.
