A woman who entered Macau from Hong Kong on September 19 has been confirmed as the city’s 67th COVID-19 case, the Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre announced.
The 37-year-old woman, who is also a Hong Kong resident, tested positive for COVID-19 this Monday (September 27) while staying under quarantine at Treasure Hotel.
The patient had been inoculated with two doses and had traveled to places including Dubai, Egypt, Croatia and Montenegro during April 9 to July 10.
She was tested positive to IgG antibody and her virus load was low. As such, the Centre initially considered her as relapse case and will continue to run virus tests for her to confirm. The woman is considered an asymptomatic imported case.
