COVID-19: Macau records 46th case, first since April 8

Macau health authorities have announced that the city has registered the first COVID-19 case since April 8. It’s a 57-year-old Macau resident who arrived in Macau on Thursday (June 25) via the special ferry service coming from the Hong Kong International Airport.

The man flew from the Philippines to Hong Kong on board of Cathay Pacific flight number CX906. As soon as he arrived in the city he was sent to a designated hotel for mandatory quarantine.

After testing positive for the new coronavirus, the man, a Filipino national, was sent to Conde de S. Januario Hospital where is now receiving treatment.
