East Timor: Parliament debates own budget for 2019; expenditure to rise 65 pct

Dili – Recurrent expenses amount to $13.9 million, representing 81% of the total, with salaries and wages amounting to $5.28 million, €194,000 more than in 2018, according to parliamentary documents.

Expenditure on goods and services is to rise by $3.27 million to $7.66 million, representing 45% of the budget total.

The total value of subsidies for parliamentary parties is to rise $14,000 to $944,000.
