Essential Macau | Enjoy the taste of Japan in the lush jungle

Recently, the weather is on and off. There is nothing better than staying indoors and enjoying delicious food during the weekend. There are a few restaurants in Macau that have daylighting. The Palms Café and Bar is a refreshingly innovative lobby lounge at the Sheraton Grand Macao, with lush palm trees, offering a transformative experience from day to night.

Sitting under the palm trees, not only can you taste delicious and authentic Southseas Asian cuisine, such as Lakasa and Hainanese Chicken rice, but can also enjoy an authentic Japanese culinary journey this month.
The time-limited menu is comprised of an array of modern and fusion Japanese delicacies, from drinks to appetizers such as sushi rolls and fresh sashimi prepared by masterful chefs.

One of the highlights is the Toro, salmon and hamachi sashimi, the thick fish fillet marinated in special sauce is the perfect choice to whet your appetite.
Main dishes are also extraordinary.

The menu offers baked lobster with spicy lemon garlic sauce, beef Agemono with Kewpie Mayo and Katsuobushi, thin version of Okonomiyaki, and Tonkotsu ramen and Unadon.

To pair with the mouth-watering dishes, the drink menu is also well designed. Kids can try an array of Matcha mocktails and the Matcha Bubble Tea is my personal preference. The Matcha is not too sweet or bitter and doesn’t taste like artificial flavouring. Adults must try a beautiful cocktail such as the Saketini, Tokyo night (Asahi beer and lemon juice with mixed syrup) or the Tokyo float, as well as a selection of sake.
