Flights to be rescheduled on 20th handover anniversary

The Civil Aviation Authority of Macao SAR has announced that in view of the need to cope with the 20th handover anniversary, some of the flights at Macau International Airport will be rescheduled to cater for the execution of the respective activities or programmes in the airport.

Chinese President Xi Jinping will arrive in Macau today for the 20th handover ceremonies and for the swearing-in ceremony of the new government headed by Chief executive-elect, Ho Iat Seng.

Since no specific flights were mentioned by the aviation authority, Macau News Agency contacted the AACM on which flights will be rescheduled but no reply has been provided yet.

The AACM has also previously announced flying drones during this period would be prohibited.
