G2E ASIA

Welcoming a new world G2E Asia introduces more non-gaming products for its 2015 edition in Macau Global Gaming Expo Asia (G2E Asia) returns to The Venetian Macao from May 19 to 22. This year’s showcase of new products and services will feature more than 30 exhibitors plus a New Product Gallery and Macau International Clubbing Show Pavilion. The 2015 edition will also showcase 20 major industry players from the Asian iGaming market. “As the centre of Asia’s online gaming community for bingo, casino, lottery, mobile and social gaming, G2E Asia 2015 will be the place for industry experts and enthusiasts alike,” says Josephine Lee, Senior Vice President of Reed Exhibitions Greater China. “With an aim to turn information into innovation, this year’s event boasts an ever-increasing list of key industry exhibitors. It will additionally include many new and exciting features, allowing both visitors and exhibitors to gain the latest information in the industry, giving them an extra competitive edge. The opportunities to network and discover will be endless.” G2E Asia will partner with the Macau International Clubbing Show (MICS) to produce a new MICS Pavilion, showcasing the latest in entertainment and event management products and trends such as beverages, bar equipment, sound lighting and effects, design, service providers, and new technologies. The pavilion will also be complemented by evening networking events. "This is the first year G2E Asia is bringing suppliers and high profile brands from the international clubbing scene to the gaming industry,” Lee said. “As the Asian gaming industry continues to evolve, visitor per capita spending increases have triggered entertainment growth across the region, making it the ideal time to debut this new feature.” The nightlife and entertainment segment continues to boom in gaming markets across Asia. In China, the number of bars, nightclubs, karaoke clubs and discos exceeds 200,000 and took US$6.7 billion (MOP53.6 billion) in revenues in 2013. Similar visitor spending trends are evident in South Korea, the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia and Vietnam. Another highlight of this year’s event is the All Asia Dealer’s Championship, at which croupiers will showcase their talents and skills and share their experiences with their peers from other Asian jurisdictions. The event seeks to encourage the frontline staff of the industry and foster their career development. In addition, an Asia Lottery Forum addressing issues of the lottery industry in Asia will be held. A pavilion dedicated to Macau companies is also designed for local brands to showcase them to G2E Asia buyers, who comprise more than 70 per cent of international visitors. In 2014, G2E Asia attracted record-breaking crowds with 8,233 visitors, including more than 95 per cent of Asia’s top casino and integrated resort operators, plus 160 exhibiting companies from China and abroad.
