MBtv: Indonesian authorities take traditional boat to distribute vaccines in remote island

Hopping on a traditional wooden boat, health and security officers join others traveling from Banda Aceh to the remote Breueh Island to deliver Covid-19 vaccines for local healthcare workers.

The island is located on the northern tip of Indonesia’s Sumatra island and can only be reached by such boats which depart from the provincial capital Banda Aceh. The trip takes around two hours and there is no regular schedule.
