Ip Sio Kai appointed to Standing Committee for the Coordination of Social Affairs

Legislator Ip Sio Kai has been appointed as a member of the Standing Committee for the Coordination of Social Affairs (CPCS) as a representative of the local employers’ sector and a replacement of Kou Hoi In in that position, a release at the Official Gazette today announced.

Ip Sio Kai is an indirect-elected legislator from the industrial, commercial and financial sector.

He is also the Deputy Director of the Bank of China Macau Branch, and the Chairman of Macau Banks Association and Macau Goldsmiths Association, as well as the Vice-Chairman of the Macau Commercial Association Board.

His term of office is to finish by April 16, 2020.

Kou Hoi In, who had previously represented the employers in the CPCS, was elected as the President of Legislative Assembly (AL) last month.
