K. Wah International Holdings Ltd, the parent company of Macau casino operator Galaxy Entertainment Group Ltd, has declared an interim dividend of HK$0.05 per share. The business more than doubled its revenue to HK$2.83 billion (US$365 million) in the first half of 2012. K. Wah is a property developer and investor with its roots in supplying construction materials. The ‘scrip dividend’ – issued in the form of stock – applies to the six months to June 30 it said in a Hong Kong Stock Exchange filing. Four members of Lui family, including the company’s founder Lui Che Woo, together own 99.95 percent of K. Wah’s shares, according to its 2012 interim report.
