Korean low-cost carrier Air Busan is planning to resume services on routes from Busan to Hong Kong and Macau on July 1, the company announced.
After having suspended all its all of its international flights since March 8, the company will now also resume routes to China, Japan and Southeast Asia.
Only 20 routes have been operating through the Macau International Airport in May, with a daily average daily of only 35 passengers, as more than 5,000 flights were cancelled for the month.
Passengers flying to Macau are required to present a medical test certificate showing they are not infected with Covid-19 prior to boarding, with residents from outside Greater China not allowed to enter.
Macau has not reported any new Covid-19 cases for 43 days.
