Local non-resident workers residing in Zhuhai exempt from quarantine

Macau non-resident workers with Chinese nationality that reside in Zhuhai will be exempt from the 14-day quarantine required before entering Macau starting from 6:00am today (Monday), health authorities indicated.

Local non-resident workers will still be required to present a negative nucleic acid test for Covid-19 and a green local health code.

This new measure will now make it easier for Chinese non-resident workers employed in the city to cross the borders for work.

Since June 18 Zhuhai authorities have also handed out 1,000 quarantine exemptions per day to local residents that need to enter Zhuhai for business, official purposes or other urgent matters.
