For the whole year of 2010, overall median monthly employment earnings of the employed, including residents and imported labour, rose by 5.9 percent over 2009, to MOP9,000. However, the median monthly employment earnings of local residents only remained unchanged at MOP10,000. In 2010, the average number of employed per household was 1.8 and the median monthly employment earnings per household increased by 3.2 percent year-on-year to MOP16,300.
