Macau | Over 900 investors requested help from IPIM’s One Stop Service in 2017

Macau (MNA) – The ‘Investor One Stop Service’ dealt with 910 investors and 129 investment projects during 2017, Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) informed MNA.

The Service dealt with the potential investors mainly by direct meetings (61 per cent), email (21 per cent) and telephone (14 per cent).

The notary of the Service helped establish 110 companies, according to the information provided by IPIM.

The ‘Investor One Stop Service’ provides support and assistance to investors trying to start business activities in the city. The services provided range ‘from a simple enquiry, where investors are helped and orientated with issues related to investing in Macau, to following procedures required for the approval of investment projects.’

The Service, founded in 2000, includes its own notary, which conducts the necessary company registration procedures for investors. It also coordinates with other departments and assists in the investment process through the Investment Committee.
