Macau | All Air Macau flights to Osaka cancelled until September 13

Macau (MNA) – Local flight carrier Air Macau has cancelled all flights between Macau and Osaka due to Typhoon Jebi until September 13.

Kansai International Airport (KIX) partially resumed international flights on September 8 for budget carrier Peach Aviation and All Nippon Airways, according to Japanese news agency Kyodo.

In order to deal with the situation, Air Macau was operating an additional flight to and from Fukuoka in order to meet additional demand for Macau residents on September 8 and 9.

The company added that all funds for re-booking, re-routing and refunds will be waived for flights affected from September 4 to September 16.

Typhoon Jebi, the strongest typhoon to hit Japan in 25 years, hit the region on September 4, killing at least nine people and injuring 514 across six prefectures in Kansai.
