Mr. Kuan revealed that there are still some refitting works that need to be done, saying that “a lot of groups had given suggestions about the construction.”
In a previous report from Business Daily, Mr. Kuan had revealed that the Theatre could be re-opened by mid-year, later pushing the opening date for a soft-launch to October.
He claimed further that expenses for renovating the facilities had reached MOP10 million.
The owner of Capitol added that over 20 associations and groups interested in the project had approached him enquiring about the new cultural venue.
The developer aims to convert the Theatre into a major venue for local cultural creative businesses and young entrepreneurs.
