Macau (MNA) – Companhia de Telecomunicações de Macau S.A.R.L (CTM) has set up a 4,000 square metre software development centre in Zhuhai, according to the company in a release written on Tuesday.
According to the release, CTM Macau is using the centre as a training platform, skill exchange platform and to develop a push into the Greater Bay Area in Guangzhou.
The centre will develop smart applications and software and boost the image of ‘Digital Macau’.
Vandy Poon, CEO of CTM, also says that the digital centre will mark CTM’s transformation from a telecommunications company into a smart city provider.
The centre has a capacity for 40 staff.
