Macau | GGR for November forecast between 18-20 per cent – Bernstein

Macau (MNA) – A slowdown in the second half of November would set gross gaming revenue (GGR) at between 18 and 20 per cent growth, according to insights by research firm Bernstein released today.

The report indicates that ‘the upcoming Macau Grand Prix has historically dampened GGR in Macau. Further, the last week of November is all weekdays.’

Assuming this distortion, the firm ‘estimates November GGR to a range of ‘MOP22.1 billion and MOP22.5 billion, an estimated y/y increase in November of 18 per cent to 20 per cent.’

However, Bernstein points out that figures ‘could be higher should a slowdown in the second part of the month not materialize.’
