Macau | Gov’t signs agreements with local SME associations for financial support

Macau (MNA) – The Macau Economic Services (DSE) said this Thursday it has signed agreements with five local business associations for assisting in providing support schemes for small and medium-sized enterprises.

Previously agreements were signed with four associations to cooperate in receiving applications for the SME schemes, namelly, the Federation of Industry and Commerce of Central Macau and South Districts, the Industrial and Commercial Federation of Macau Islands, the Industrial and Commercial Association of Macau North Zone and the Industrial and Commercial Association of Macao North Zone and the General Federal Trade Association of Macao Small and Medium Enterprises.

Yesterday the DSE signed an agreement on the provision of on-site services with the Macau Small and Medium Enterprises Association, entrusting its office with receiving the requests of the Young Entrepreneurs Support Scheme, Small and Medium Enterprises Support Scheme, Credit Interest Bonus for Business Financing and tax incentives in the scope of industrial policy.

The addition of this new location now increases the number of places of reception of applications for SME support increased to 11.

The DSE also established a new online booking system for scheduling times for submitting applications.
