Macau | MGM announces salary rise

Macau (MNA) – MGM will increase the salaries of eligible non-management team members between 2.5 per cent and 8.1 per cent effective from March 19, the company said in a press release on Thursday. MGM considers the measure as ‘a cost of living adjustment’.

Team members earning up to MOP16,000 (US$2,003.6) will see their salaries increase by MOP600, which represents a 3.8 per cent to 8.1 per cent increment.

Employees with salaries above MOP16,000 will see their salaries increased by 2.5 per cent.

Grant Bowie, CEO and Executive Director of MGM China praised team members’ performance in the press release and was quoted as saying that ‘it is very important that we continue to increase our “one-team” mind-set and provide exceptional service at both MGM Macau and MGM Cotai’.
