Macau (MNA) – Local citizens that need to update their address details and contact information with the Public Administration will be able to use a one-time service starting today.
The service allows the updated information to be shared between different Macau SAR Government departments.
The Social Security Fund and the Pension Fund are appointed as the departments to co-operate with the Identification Services Bureau (DSI) in this first phase.
Residents over 18 years old with an electronic ID card can authorize the DSI to ‘provide the relevant information to other government departments which the applicants have chosen at the time they update the contact information in their resident identity record with the integrated self-service kiosks,’ the official release says.
‘DSI will handle the application within three working days from the day following the day of application,’ the information says.
