Egypt, Giza: Organized by Egyptian consultancy Art d’Egypte, Forever is Now has returned for a second year with the ancient Pyramids of Giza serving as the backdrop for 11 large-scale contemporary art installations. Taking place from October 27 to November 30, the international art exhibition celebrates the power of art in heritage sites. Visitors can expect large-scale site-specific artworks that aim to blend with Giza’s 4500-year-old monuments of natural stone and are in line with the exhibition’s theme of “timelessness and the mysteries of an ancient civilization.” Sustainability also finds its place at Forever is Now II with artworks created using natural and industrial materials with the message that the future cannot be envisioned without a look at the past.
