MBtv: Climate anxiety – the young activists turning fear into action

From Bangladesh to Britain to Nigeria, many young campaigners on the front lines of the global fight against climate change face a new problem: the impact the crisis is having on their mental health. As thousands of delegates converge at the COP26 summit in Glasgow to discuss ways to tackle the environmental emergency, AFP spoke with three youth activists around the world who spoke candidly of their experience of climate anxiety and how they are turning these fears for the future into action.
