Melco Resorts workforce with 65pct vaccination rate

Melco Resorts & Entertainment has indicated that after its vaccine outreach initiatives, about 65 per cent of its employee vaccination rate in Macau and Hong Kong have been vaccinated and awarded its first money prizes to inoculated staff.

The gaming operator earmarked MOP16 million towards a special “Get the Jab” immunity incentive program with each fully vaccinated colleague to receive MOP1,000, and once the Company reaches certain immunity targets, up to six colleagues may win MOP1 million each.

The group hosted its first series of lucky draws for staff from City of Dreams, Studio City, Altira Macau and Mocha Clubs with four employees awarded a collective cash prize total of MOP500,000.

‘With the first target vaccination rate being reached, the first million lucky draw is scheduled for next week. Subject to applicable terms and conditions, all fully vaccinated colleagues from Melco’s Macau properties and Hong Kong corporate offices are eligible for entry to the incentive lucky draw,’ the company added.

‘Further incentives include the Keep the Momentum Lucky Draws, which have, to date, offered 25 lucky Melco colleagues attractive cash awards, coupons and prizes’.

All six gaming concessionaires in the city have initiated vaccination outreach initiatives geared to employees and sometimes their family members.
