Menzies lands 10-year sub-concession licence

Menzies Macau Airport Services Company Limited, the international aviation ground services provider, has landed a 10-year ground handling sub-concession licence from Macau International Airport. The sub-concession will cover support services including aircraft and passengers, aviation cargo warehouse and operation, as well as aircraft maintenance, the company said in a statement. ‘The sealing of the new ground handling contract marks an important milestone for the company and our people,’ managing director of Menzies Macau Raymond Lo said. Menzies Macau Airport Services started operation at Macau International Airport in 1995, and is part of the international aviation group Menzies Aviation that currently operates over 146 stations around the globe. To date, the company has handled over 672,000 aircraft movements, 68 million passengers and 1.8 million tonnes of cargo at MIA.
