The government has set up a talent development committee to improve the city’s human resources. The committee’s establishment was announced in yesterday’s Official Gazette. Government spokesman Alexis Tam Chon Weng said the committee would look for ways to increase the number of people undertaking tertiary training, and to fill gaps in the labour market, among other objectives. The committee will also come up with incentives for training top professionals. Chief Executive Fernando Chui Sai On will chair the committee.
