Due to the novel coronavirus outbreak, Philippines authorities have imposed several travel restrictions, with passengers who have been in mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong or Macau in the past 14 days are not allowed to enter the country.
However, this does not apply to nationals of the Philippines, who are required to self-isolate for a period of 14 days from their arrival into the Philippines.
Nevertheless, the measure has impacted tourists and workers from the country, with about 300 Philippines nationals estimated to be stranded in Macau.
