Public health mask purchase quota increased to 30 masks per resident

The next public health mask purchase round will allow residents to purchase 30 masks for MOP24 (US$3), health authorities announced today (Wednesday).

The 20th public mask purchase round since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic will be initiated on July 31, with previous round allowing residents and non-permanent resident workers to purchase 10 masks for MOP8.

Parents and relatives will also now be able to purchase 20 masks for children of ages between 5 and 8 years old 30 child masks or choose to buy 15 child masks and 15 adult masks, or just 30 adult masks.

For children aged between 3 and 4 years relatives can choose to buy 15 children’s masks and 15 masks for adults or, alternatively, 30 adult masks.

Allowed locations for purchasing the masks will remain the same, at local health centers, pharmacies and at 21 service points of three civic associations, namely, the Macao Federation of Trade Unions (FAOM), General Union of Neighborhood Associations of Macau and General Association of Macau Women.
