SJM announces “annual living subsidy” to staff

Gaming operator SJM Resorts announced today (Friday) it will provide an “annual living subsidy” to eligible employees amounting to 2 months or 1.5 months of salary.

The bonuses will be paid in two instalments: The first one on January 6; the second in July.

SJM Resorts Chairman of the Board of Directors Daisy Ho said the operator “as continued to make significant strides amidst the pandemic” thanks to the efforts and “tremendous support”from their staff.

“As a company firmly rooted in Macau, SJM stands in solidarity with the local community in opening a new chapter for Macau’s growth and development in the coming year”, Ms Ho added according to the same press release.

Sands China, MGM China, Galaxy Entertainment and Wynn Macau announced similar packages for their staff earlier this month.
