Just some hours after revealing a second confirmed coronavirus case in a Macau resident, a third one was revealed by health authorities, bringing up the total tally in the city to 10.
The third patient is a 57-year-old male and Macau resident, who is said to have visited Guangzhou on January 25, a city to which he traveled frquently.
From January 26, he started developing symptoms such as runny nose, cough, and fever.
He later went to Kang Wu Hospital yesterday and was transferred Conde S. Januario Hospital yesterday where he tested positive for the new coronavirus.
He is currently under isolation and in stable conditions. No information was provided on whether he contacted the previously confirmed cases.
There are currently 10 confirmed cases in the city, seven from Hubei province and three Macau residents.
