A security guard working at Treasure Hotel has tested positive for COVID-19 and became the city’s 71st case, the Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre said.
The 71st case was diagnosed to a 38-year-old man and a security guard in the Hotel’s surveillance control room and during the working period he has no contact with clients or workers from other hotels. He shares the same locker room with the security agents of Golden Crown China Hotel and nearby Treasure Hotel.
As this person was in the same places as the patients, he had the same trajectory as the 65th and the 66th cases, and since September 25 he was subject to isolation with medical observation, being alone in a room.
The results of the nucleic acid tests carried out on the 22nd and 24th were negative and today the 28th of September the result of the nucleic acid test was positive and confirmed.
On the day On April 24 and June 14 this man was inoculated, in Mainland China with an inactivated vaccine from China and an inactivated vaccine from Sinovac.
The patient does not show any symptoms and was sent to Coloane’s Clinical Health Centre for further diagnosis and treatment.
