Typhoon Signal No.8 has been replaced by signal No.3 at 11:30am today (Wednesday) with all storm surge warning signals cancelled.
All three bridges between Macau and Taipa are now re-opened.
Typhoon Higos is now located about 100 km west-northwest of Macau and moving away, with local winds to weaken.
At its closest distance to Macau, the storm led to a Typhoon Signal No. 10 to be raised between 5:00am and 7:30am.
