Visitor arrivals 87 pct down in Golden Week’s first three days

About 58 thousand tourist arrivals were recorded in the first three days of the National Day Golden Week, accounting for an 87.2 per cent year-on-year decline, figures provided by the Macau Government Tourist Office (MGTO) indicate.

The data show that 20,726 tourists entered Macau on October 3, around 1,400 less than in the previous day.

Mainland tourist arrivals account for 94 per cent of the 58,345 visitors who entreated the city between the 1st and the 3rd of October.
