The iconic Philippine minibuses known as jeepneys have for decades provided cheap transport for millions, their colourful paintjobs resembling a vivid outdoor art gallery. But pollution and safety concerns mean they’re facing the end of the road, with jeepneys 15 years or older due to be taken off the streets by 2020 – and that’s bad news for the artists who paint them.
