It’s the tenth year that the world’s leading luxury travel retailer DFS Group (DFS) launch the Masters of Time exhibition in Macau. Since 2008, every year DFS showcases an array of the finest timepieces and jewelry for connoisseurs at the exhibition. Masters of Time has been recognized as the world’s premier retail exhibition of luxury timepieces and jewelry, and is a signature event in DFS’s Masters Series.
The highlight of the event is the exhibition – “Masters of Time X”, which was held at T Galleria by DFS, Shoppes at Four Seasons. DFS showcases the height of craftsmanship as well as the best of design and innovation for both men and women, and features over 450 exceptional, rare watches and exclusive jewelry masterpieces from 30 world-famous brands, including Bvlgari, Franck Muller, Hublot, IWC, Jaquet Droz, Piaget, Roger Dubuis, Tag Heuer, Ulysse Nardin and Zenith.
DFS also teams up with an array of brands to create timepieces exclusively for DFS’s Masters of Time. Franck Muller launches the special edition Vanguard Crazy Hours in partnership with DFS, issued in a limited series of 5 pieces which are all exclusive to DFS. The signature Art Deco Arabic numerals are laid out in non-sequential fashion, with the number ‘10’ in contrasting roman numeral, celebrating the tenth anniversary of Masters of Time. The prominent red color in the design, representing the DFS identity, is strikingly set off by the elegantly crafted full diamond set case and dial.
Tag Heuer also introduced a special Carrera Caliber Heuer O2t especially for the exhibition. To celebrate the tenth edition of exhibition, this limited edition Carrera Heuer 02T Tourbillon is adorned with a baguette-cut ruby at 10 o’clock. Guests can also find the DFS exclusive products from Zenith, Ulysse Nardin and IWC Schaffhausen at the exhibition.
In addition to viewing and purchasing the rare products, guests also enjoy varieties of excitement and privileged discovery. Award-winning actress, Charmaine Sheh, mingled with guests while fashion designer, Phillip Lim, shared his professional tips on how to style wardrobe classics with fine jewelry and timepieces.
Russian luxury graffiti artist, Pokras Lampas, demonstrated his captivating live drawing technique, incorporating his DFS exclusive MOT X design. Also in attendance were DFS Masters of Time ambassador, Carson Chan, Hong Kong’s most notable watch collector, and Eric Ku, globally acknowledged as an authority on vintage Rolexes. Complementing the experience, guests were treated to the exquisite taste of Rare Champagne, caviar and truffles.
