Casino operator Las Vegas Sands Corp’s chairman and chief executive, Sheldon Adelson, will take over as chief executive of his company’s Macau subsidiary, Sands China Ltd. Sands China issued a written statement saying that Mr Adelson, who is already its chairman, will become chief executive on March 6. The company says the former chief operating officer of Las Vegas Sands, Robert Goldstein, will become Sands China’s interim president. Sands China’s present chief executive and president, Edward Tracy, is due to retire.
