Many Macau people have never placed a casino bet

More than one-third of Macau people have never gambled in a casino, the results of a survey conducted in Macau and Singapore indicate. The survey, by two academics at Shih Chien University in Taiwan, looked at the attitude to the gaming industry among residents of each city. It found that of the 416 Macau people questioned, 142 said they had never been in a casino to gamble, 51 said they gambled frequently and 223 said they gambled occasionally.
