The annual SJM Macau Derby, held yesterday at Macau Jockey Club, reported a total prize-money for the race day of HK$8.44 million, a record high for a single race day in Macau, according to a press-release. The main event, the SJM Macau Derby (1,800-meter race) was opened to four-year old horses. This year 14 horses competed for prize-money of HK$2.6 million, with “Imabayboy” being the Derby winner.
