Junket operators have begun selling their big expensive flats in Macau because of the slump in VIP gaming, Business Daily reports. The newspaper quotes Ricacorp (Macau) Properties Ltd and Greatest Properties Ltd as saying they have seen a few cases of VIP gaming promoters selling expensive homes, most of them unfurnished flats in Cotai and the north of the peninsula. Estate agents say the sellers are offering discounts of up to 10 percent. Greatest Properties chief executive Yu Ming said that if VIP gaming continued to slump, the market for big expensive flats was likely to be depressed.
